During the summers of 2011 and 2012, I deck-handed on a wildlife tour boat off the coast of Vancouver Island. The area has an incredible concentration of both terrestrial and marine mammals, found in a breathtakingly dramatic landscape. I spent all day, everyday exploring the never ending network of sheltered sea inlets, as well as the wave battered coastline. The highlight was successfully deploying my home made remote camera to photograph a coastal grey wolf as it walked less than a foot from the camera.
